Happy Pedro is the musical moniker for Peter Theis. This recording is really and truly diverse with all of the original material managing to effortlessly include sounds from both Latin and American musical stylings. Peter lives in the jungle in Playa del Carmen and asked if I could lend some guitar work, I almost made the trip down there, but alas just recorded from my home studio. I used my gypsy guitar on a couple tracks and my Gibson ES-350T through a Fender Deluxe, too. We brought in Gary Schulte on violin from the Twin Cities Hot Club as well, so fun!
