On Monday, November 22 at 7:00pm, Robert Bell and Reynold Philipsek will perform gypsy jazz to support Michael Dregni. Matt Senjem (b) and Gary Schulte (v) will also perform making this a Twin Cities Hot Club performance. Michael has just authored a new and most definitive Django Reinhardt biography entitled ‘ DJANGO: The Life and Music of a Gypsy Legend,’ just released by Oxford University Press. I am very impressed by Dregni’s work. The gig will be at the Barnes & Noble at the Galleria in Edina Minnesota.
