A tune I composed with Nancy Harms, “In The Indigo” has been topping the popjazzradio.com poll for many weeks in a row! I wanted something with a latin feel, but made sure to include a Charleston feel too as Nancy at the time always had that vibe in her singing. I wrote the chords and melody then ran it by Nancy, she had the lyrics and they were perfect. She then shared it with Arne Fogel who thought the pre-chorus could use an alternate melody, it fit perfectly. What a great collaboration!
